My Philosophy

My philosophy is to provide thorough, yet easy-to-understand golf instruction based on facts rather than fads, gimmicks, opinions or guesswork.  All facts tend to center on these three areas:

  • Golf Swing Physics: Understanding club plane, path, sequencing, etc. is obviously a must.
  • The Body: The body was designed to move in certain ways or risk injury.
  • The Brain: After learning how to move your body properly, your brain has to ingrain it.

My method of teaching is to provide an orderliness of thought or behavior with a systematic approach of planning and/or action to achieve specific goals throughout the process of learning the golf swing.  To assist me with achieving my students’ goals using this method, I use the following tools to provide guidance and structure:

Rotary Swing – Rotary Swing is a step by step system based on physics, the body and the brain.  It is available on-line 24/7.  This support structure allows my students to continue their education and practice in a systematic way.

TRACKMAN – It’s basically microwaves reflecting from the movement of a golf club head and the resulting ball flight. The change in frequency of these receiving waves is what makes it possible to track what happens at the very moment of impact between club and ball.

TRACKMAN has a long track record of working with radar technology equipment and was established in 2003 with the sole purpose of helping golf professionals understand more about this critical moment of impact. The TRACKMAN radar not only helps map these key data parameters – golf swing and ball speed, attack angle, club and path, etc. – it also captures the golf swing with an inbuilt video camera.
